About the Project

The overarching focus of the position is understanding human mobility and sustainable travel behaviour when planning transportation systems. This includes understanding how urban and rural surroundings influence travel behaviour and, based on this, formulating policies and regulations for more sustainable mobility. The research aims to deepen the understanding of behaviour, preferences, and choices, and their underlying drivers, within the transport domain, with a particular emphasis on public sector support, scientific advice, and societal impact.
