About the Project

The research program is organized into three interconnected themes: 1) Functional polymer synthesis and nanostructured materials, including organic and polymer synthesis, polymerization, crosslinking, molecular-structure control, electrospun polymer nanofibers, and sustainable polymer materials. 2) Dielectric polarization control for energy harvesting and wearable sensing, covering molecular dipole alignment, interfacial polarization, dielectric polymers, triboelectric and piezoelectric energy-harvesting materials and devices, and self-powered wearable sensors. 3) Sustainable energy materials and lithium-ion battery recycling, focusing on lithium and valuable-metal recovery from spent batteries, purification of lithium compounds, cathode-material regeneration, and electrochemical evaluation of recycled battery materials.
