The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) seeks a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Engineering Technology to develop and evaluate personal generative models of multisensory perception. Supported by a Villum Experiment grant, the project will use controlled XR environments to study how individuals integrate sound, vision and touch under uncertainty, and test model predictions for new situations. The role involves designing XR experiments, collecting behavioural, gaze and physiological data, building computational models, and publishing results at the intersection of AI, perception, XR and universal design. The position is full‑time for one year, offers an allowance negotiated with the relevant union, and includes relocation support for candidates moving to Denmark.
