Entry requirements

The first year of study is to be completed at Aarhus Universitet. In the second year, students transfer to LMU or to one of the partner universities, each of which offers its own specializations. In order to be admitted to the Master's program in Journalism, Media and Globalization, students must have a first degree with at least 180 ECTS credits or an equivalent degree from Germany or abroad and at least one year of qualified professional experience after completing their first degree. The application for the aptitude test must be submitted by January 10 for the following winter semester (cut-off deadline).The selection procedure is carried out by a joint selection committee of the School of Communication at Aarhus Universitet and the Department of Media and Communication (IfKW) at LMU.
