About the Project

The project aims to elucidate alterations in pancreatic organoids derived from type 2 diabetes patients by applying state‑of‑the‑art multi‑omics techniques. Researchers will differentiate human stem cells into pancreatic beta cells, generate organoids, perform advanced genome editing, conduct single‑cell RNA sequencing, proteomics and lipidomics, and carry out functional assays and imaging. Findings are expected to inform the development of cell‑ and gene‑based therapies for diabetes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study changes in pancreatic organoids from type 2 diabetes patients using multi‑omics techniques
  • Differentiate human stem cells into pancreatic beta cells and produce organoids
  • Perform advanced genome editing during differentiation
  • Conduct single‑cell RNA sequencing, proteomics and lipidomics analyses
  • Carry out functional assays and microscopic imaging
  • Collaborate with internal team and external partners, including short‑term internships

Required Skills

  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology or biochemistry
  • Hands‑on experience in multi‑omics analyses
  • Knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology and bioinformatics
  • Publication record
